Hulk SMASH puny theatre!!

I think many of the fanboys out there were somewhat disappointed with Hulk, but I wasn't at all. Ang Lee is a genious filmmaker. Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon opened my eyes to a whole world of films that I never gave a second thought to before.

For those of you who wanted Hulk to be a monstrous action blockbuster, shut up. There was more than enough great action in the film. We got to see Bruce Banner's better half do his worst for a good portion of the film. Comics aren't successful because of the art. You can put together a shitty looking comic book with a great story and still be successful. The same thing applies here. The movie had a well told and fantastic story. It was a modern day telling of the classic Greek tragedy. It's called art you fucktards!

The CGI was well done also. For those who don't know, and you're a shitbird if you don't, CGI is an acronym for Computer Generated Imagery. ILM, another acronym for the challenged people, did a fantastic job. I could see the emotion in his facial expressions. I could see his skin ripple as the bullets struck his impenetrable green flesh. I can see this starting to sound homoerotic. Let's move on.

Bottom line, the movie was great. It was a fantastic story told by a master story teller. If you enjoy a good movie and a good comic book, kill two birds with one stone and see Hulk. Or don't...I don't give a fuck.
